Complications In Breast Surgeries

The Breast Surgeries that may be done for the cosmetic purpose or the reconstructive one have many complications involved in them just like any other surgery. The very commonly occurring symptoms include:

• Adverse reactions to anesthesia.
Post-operative bleeding called as hematoma.
• Fluid collection also known as seroma.
• Surgical site infection or breakdown.
• Breast pain.
• Alterations or loss in sensation.
• Unfavorable scarring.
• Interference with breast feeding.
• Visible wrinkling
• Asymmetry in both the breasts.
• Thinning of the breast tissue.
• Synmastia. This means the disruption of the natural plane between breasts. Also known as 'bread loafing'.

Another important complication in the Breast Enhancement Surgeries could be the Rupture of the implants. Although the implants remain intact for decades in the body, but the fact is that such devices fail at some point. The Saline Breast Implants if break, they often deflate quickly and can be easily removed. However When Silicone Implants break they rarely deflate, and the silicone from the implant can leak out into the space around the implant. This leakage may lead to more serious complications.

It is not that there are always complications involved in the Surgeries but you can not say when something might happen.
